Giant California Sea Scondor

My latest assignment was to draw 2 random animals from a cup and to try to combine them into a single animal. I got a California Condor, and a Giant Sea Scorpion. This was pretty challenging, but I think I pulled it off pretty well!
Here is a California Condor and Giant Sea Scorpion for reference:

Note: Giant Sea Scorpions are extinct, so I had to use other artist's ideas on what it could of looked like to go on.

Anyway, here is my Giant California Sea Scondor, native to California. Done entirely in Photoshop:

Dr. Fluxus

This assignment was a cradle to grave, which means I had to design the same character at five major stages of his life. I had to make him as a baby, a child, a teenager, an adult, and an old man. The story behind Dr. Fluxus is that he is a scientist who invented a time machine, but it had a major flaw. As he went forward and backward into time her got older and younger, respectively. Taking form this I decided a lot of his experiments didn't go as planed, hence the scars. Anyway, here it is!

I don't think it looks like me, but that's what people are saying. Also, sorry my baby is creepy!

Walrus Design Excluding Outline

Well, I thought I was done with this one until I showed it to a classmate and turned off the outline as a joke and he thought he looked tons better. So I spent a couple of hours touching up the no outline version and I must say, I think it turned out pretty nice!
Let me know what you think, and which version you like better!

Walrus Design

In my character and object design class last week we had to pick a random slip of paper out of a cup, and on that piece of paper was an animal. We had to draw that animal first realistically, then as a cartoon character for an adult swim type cartoon. We were also supposed to try to think of stereotypes that might go with our animal and try to apply them. My animal, which you could tell by the title, is a walrus. I was going to go with a lazy personality at first, but decided to do a "fat cat" type of character instead. With out further ado, here it is...

Diving Raptor

I've decided that for my first post I would show a short, rough animation I made a couple of months ago. Video, frame by frame, and explanation after the jump!

I started with my character on the board
